Context
Evalueserve operated as a global leader in business intelligence, but much of its process relied on offline, phone-led interactions tailored to large enterprise clients.
This model created friction, limited access, and introduced operational inefficiencies. The opportunity was to rethink how business intelligence could be delivered, shifting from bespoke, analyst-driven workflows to a more accessible, technology-enabled platform.
Opportunity
Reimagine business intelligence delivery by:
- Moving offline, manual processes into a digital, self-serve environment
- Expanding access beyond enterprise clients to a broader market
- Using machine learning to accelerate research and content creation
- Refocusing human expertise on high-value analysis rather than repetitive tasks
This represented an industry-first shift toward self-serve Business Intelligence.

Challenge
The ambition required balancing multiple layers of complexity:
- Translating nuanced analyst workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Designing for both automation and human intervention in a cohesive system
- Managing highly complex data, research inputs, and outputs
- Coordinating across a globally distributed team working in agile
Additionally, new product directions often came with aggressive business requirements that risked overwhelming usability.
